MailRaider can convert the body text of an Outlook file to a text format compatible with nearly every text editor or word processor on Mac OS X. When you save an Outlook file in this format (.rtf or Rich Text Format), rather than the .eml format, any attachments will be lost.
You can also choose to save your email as an .eml file which can be opened by nearly all email programs. If you choose the .eml format then any attachments that the email contains will remain attached to the email.
You can save the body text by selecting Save As from the File menu, or by clicking the save icon in the toolbar of the email window. Attachment data will not be saved in the .rtf file. If you want to keep the attachments then they will need to be saved separately, or you will need to save the file as .eml instead.
